Sibiu Historic Center

Urban regeneration project focuses on the integrated revitalization of Sibiu’s historic core, a UNESCO-protected area renowned for its medieval fortifications and vibrant public squares. Recognizing that the city’s central areas have become increasingly dominated by motorized traffic and fragmented commercial use, the study aims to reclaim the public realm for its citizens. By bridging the gap between historical preservation and modern functionality, the project seeks to transform Sibiu into a "15-minute city" where essential services, culture, and nature are accessible to all within a short walk or bike ride.
