Our proposal focuses on the establishment and landscaping of the Corvinia Urban Garden in the municipality of Hunedoara. Designed to generate a strong socio-economic impact for the local community, the masterplan creates a regulation-compliant public space dedicated to outdoor recreation. The landscape integrates diverse mobility networks, including a dedicated bicycle path and pedestrian walkways. A major focal point of the site is the 297-square-meter playground area. Finished with sand and impact-absorbing surfaces , this dynamic play zone is equipped with a round trampoline, a carousel, a rope swing with a wooden frame, and custom box-type play units , all thoughtfully complemented by street furniture and dedicated lighting.
The built environment within the garden features carefully crafted architectural elements, including a Bistro and an adjoining tower equipped with a lift, an open-air amphitheater, and an entrance building. To blend harmoniously with the surroundings, the facades of the primary structures are defined by natural stone cladding and decorative plaster, while featuring laminated wood joinery with double glazing and traditional wood shingle roofs. Additionally, the project incorporates a specialized climbing tower built on a sturdy metal framework, completed with thermally treated wood decks and wooden balustrades.
